Tom combines an asset owner’s perspective of hospitality real estate with over 30 years of enterprise level management of hotel development, planning, construction, and facilities operations. His 19 years with Hyatt Hotels Corporation as VP of Technical Services and VP of Engineering provided him with broad experience in all phases of hotel and resort planning, CAPEX, construction, engineering, and facility operations. He has the ability to develop portfolio level strategy along with property level tactical plans. Tom is effective in both the boardroom, and in supporting and leading line staff at the property level.
His asset management experience includes serving as the General Manager of The Prudential Realty Group’s $900 Million Northeast hotel portfolio, including such iconic properties as the New York Hilton, Sheraton Boston, Washington and Capital Hiltons, and the Hyatt Regency Cambridge.
After graduating from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration with a concentration in hotel planning and design, he earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Tom also attended the Ecole Cordon Bleu in Paris.
Tom is the principal in charge, and personally supervises all consulting engagements by RA Associates.
