Yellowstone Club
At Yellowstone Club World, Thomas Riegelman provided hands-on project management to “rescue” and complete an out-of-control, $100M ski lodge/condominium project at the Club’s flagship property in Big Sky, Montana. The project had been plagued with delays, design errors, and significant cost over-runs related to poor design, faulty construction, and inadequate project management.
Tom immediately stopped all of the work proceeding under time & material contracts, as well as any work without adequate design documentation. At the same time, Tom implemented strict planning, construction, and contract process and controls for all projects undertaken at the Club. Work on the lodge/condo project was sequentially restarted as design work was completed, and the work bid and contracted with proper schedule and cost controls in place.
The lodge was completed in time for the opening of ski season, and the condominiums (20) were completed throughout the following year.
